Terms of Service

The Platform gives Hebrew teachers (“Teacher Partners”) a dashboard to invite students, assign Ulpan-Or learning materials unit by unit, and follow progress; and gives students a personal learning space with the materials their teacher assigns.

Ulpan-Or provides the materials and the Platform. Teaching itself — lessons, fees for lessons, scheduling — is arranged directly between the teacher and the student and is not part of any Platform subscription.

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. One person, one account; accounts may not be shared. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Teacher Partner accounts are for practising Hebrew teachers, tutors and small learning centres. We may decline or close an account that misrepresents itself or misuses the Platform.

Teacher Partner licenses and student seats are subscriptions billed in US dollars for the period chosen at checkout (monthly, half-year or yearly). Prices shown at checkout are the prices charged; launch prices are valid for the period stated and may change for new purchases with notice on the site.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period using the card saved at checkout, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a receipt by email for every charge. You can cancel renewal at any time from your account or by emailing us; see the Refunds & Cancellation Policy for what happens to the remaining period.

Materials purchased through the shop are one-time purchases giving twelve months of access from the date of purchase.

Students activate seats only through a personal link from their Teacher Partner, at a partner price. The student is attributed to the teacher who invited them for as long as the seat stays active, including renewals.

Teacher Partners earn a share of the seat and materials payments made by their attributed students, as shown on the teacher’s Billing page. Balances are paid out periodically by bank transfer against an invoice or receipt as required by law. We may change the partner terms for future periods with reasonable notice.

Partner links and discounts are for the teacher’s own students. Publishing links or discounts publicly, or reselling seats, is not permitted and may lead to closure of the account and forfeiture of unpaid balances.

All learning materials, curricula, audio, text and software on the Platform are the property of Ulpan-Or or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning or teaching through the Platform for the duration of your subscription.

You may not copy, download beyond the Platform’s own download features, redistribute, sell, or share access to the materials.

• No sharing of accounts or sign-in links.
• No automated access, scraping, or attempts to bypass access controls.
• No unlawful, abusive or misleading content in messages sent through the Platform.

Payments are processed by Tranzila, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card details are transmitted to Tranzila and are never stored on our servers; we keep only a payment token, the last four digits and the expiry date for renewals and your records.

We work to keep the Platform available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, materials and these terms; material changes to the terms will be announced on the Platform or by email, and continued use after the change means acceptance.

The Platform and materials are provided as an educational service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim connected to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable law.
